Rev. Dr. Joshua Snyder
Ministry is about love and service. Love alone, while a wonderful sentiment is not enough to transform the world. Service alone, can become drudgery. Ministry is living in the space where love and service come together. That has been my call to ministry, and it has been the shining light of my life for two decades. Ministry fulfills me because I get to witness great moments of people’s lives birth and death, marriage and divorce, and pain and despair. It also allows me to bring a sense of hope and peace to the more mundane moments that can seem far away from the mission of the church, but nevertheless support its work.
I have been blessed to serve five wonderful congregations as minister. In those years I have cried through memorial services and danced at wedding receptions. I look forward to carrying my call to ministry into a new congregation. I am so appreciative of your interest in me and my work, and look forward to getting to know your church better.
May your journey of discernment be a fruitful one no matter where it takes you.

Love and Service...
Meet Rev. Josh!
I have served five congregations in over 25 years of ministry. I have devoted my life to Unitarian Universalism and Unitarian Universalists congregations. This has brought me to a number of settings: small churches, medium, and large churches. No two churches are ever alike, and ministry always presents new challenges and solutions.
Experienced Leadership
Personal Connection
I believe in fostering genuine relationships that nurture spiritual growth and community strength. While this can be a challenge in a digital world, in which relationships can feel less meaningful, church is a place where we can be with each other in real life. As the Pandemic showed us, this basic fact of community is something that we should never take for granted.
